AO: Local Honey
Date: July 27, 2022
PAX: Crash (R), Bobby Knight, FloJo, Stickshift, Graffiti (R), and Eggplant (R).
6 PAX were gathered by 5:30, but YHC honored the AO 5:32 launch time in case we had some PAX came in hot. The extra 2 minutes yielded no additional PAX, but we filled the time w/ some quality fellowship.
Having given up on stragglers, we did a short mosey to the Charles Aris parking lot for:
- SSS 20 IC
- Imperial Walker 10IC
- Hillbillies 10IC
- Sun-Gods forward 15 IC
- Sun-Gods backward 15 IC
- Hug Thyself
- Abe Vigoda (respect-syle) 10 IC
- Copperhead Squats 15 IC
Mosey to the corner of Bellemeade and Elm for :
Starting from Bellemeade we moseyed down Elm, stopping at each light for funishment. YHC had an arm weinke with four stops planned and we rotated through at each light with the PAX calling the cadence in alternating fashion. The stops:
If all PAX made it through the light while green, the plan was to do 20 reps per exercise. If someone hit the light red, the count increased to 40. YHC was told by his M that, we would likely hit all green going down Elm since there is not much traffic that time of morning, so YHC was comfortable with the aggressive penalty. In hindsight, my M has likely never been downtown before sun rise, so YHC should have known better.
We hit the first two lights red, so sensing a mutiny and being a benevolent Q, the counts were reduced to 15 reps on green lights and 30 reps on red. The PAX became very strategic in the pace down each block regardless, using the crosswalk timers to plan an occasional sprint for green.
At McGee, we turned right and came back on Greene street. Hit the red light on Washington for a final set (7 total) and began our mosey back to the shovel flag for:
- Low Slow Flutters 10IC
- Low Dollies 10IC
- Heal Touches 15IC
- Freddy Mercuries 15IC
- American Hammer 15 IC
Enjoyed being with these men in the gloom. Thank you for the opportunity to lead.
