WARM-A-RAMA
It was a balmy start in the gloom. With the temps around 50, T-shirts and shorts were in order. Unless, you’re Backdraft, then it was a full body suit that looks like it could be fire repellent, but YHC cannot confirm nor deny the level of fire protection it provides. I digress…seven PAX got started promptly with a quick and simple warm-a-rama.

THE THANG
The track was transformed into a wheel of misfortune. The PAX utilized the full track with stops at the 400, 300, 200, and 100 meter marks (translated to American standards, meters are roughly the same as yards). Today’s playlist theme was old school hip-hop from the 80s and 90s. Unfortunately (for Mall Cop), we ran out of time before Mall Cop could switch the stations to Taylor Swift. YHC has it on good authority that she safely arrived in the safety of his car on the cool down drive home.
We started the thang with the bleachers near the 400 meter mark with the first exercise. We moseyed to the 300 for the next one, and so-on between every station in the rotation. The second stop/station (300 meter starting line) on our tour was the most popular. It was the sources of the loudest of mumble chatter and had absolutely nothing to do with the dogmatic aroma of the dogg pound across the street (Not a real one, just multiple pooches who share the “fresh” open air with us and apparently had too much to eat last night. The combination of Merkins, Mike Tysons, Jack Webbs, and Burpees here were enough to make everyone forget the smell wafting in the air and focus on the need to get any air into their lungs. All exercises were done in single sets of 10, except for the Bear Crawls to close out the thang.

Much respect to all the PAX who showed up and put the work in. To close out we lifted up those in need of prayer and support. It’s always a humbling experience to plan, lead, and execute the game plan. YHC took us out.
