Coming off the life-changing event known within F3 as, GROWRUCK, YHC was looking forward to being back with the studs of Hobble & Gobble. After dispensing the mission, it was time to ruck up, buckle up, load up, and ship out into the Gloom. We traversed Friendly Center and found our way to the Ben & Jerry’s Arena (not an arena) for:

  • SSH x 15 IC
  • Hammy Scoop @ 30sec.
  • Hillbilly x 15 IC

With the body limber, it was time to unpack your ruck plate, get your coupon ready, and get after:

The Thang

In honor of Robert James Miller (Oct 14 1983 – Jan 25 2008) was an Army Special Forces soldier who served in Afghanistan to support Operation Enduring Freedom in 2006-07. We tackled the Robbie Miller Hero WOD modified for time plus threw in some extra hot sauce for #funishment

Staff Sgt. Robert J. Miller was a United States Army Special Forces soldier who posthumously received the Medal of Honor for his actions during the War in Afghanistan. SSG Miller charged into an ambush, beat back 100 or so insurgents, and ended up saving his entire patrol of brothers-at-arms.
Miller is buried at All Faith’s Memorial Park in Casselberry, FL. Miller received the Medal of Honor posthumously from President Barack Obama.  He is survived by his parents as well as his many siblings.

All the while, the Battle Rope was set up across the AO. One after the other, the Pax was required to go 100% with alternating arm waves to FAILURE. Run back, tag the next guy. Rinse and repeat.

The Reverse Lunge Halos were a #CrowdPleasure so be sure to check it out: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMetcAp22/

OMAHA! called for time. Load up, including all extra training gear, and head back to the #walkerflag for:

  • Low Slow Flutters x 20 IC
  • Chillcut Plank x 1 minute
  • American Hammers x 20 IC

Drifter: #TAP for your mom, your family, and you. If you need anything, countless men are a phone call away.

Annie Oakley: Helluva push today, brother. Keep up the solid work… it’s paying off and YHC hopes you’re experiencing that.

Akron, City Slicker, Don’t Cha Know, and STP: I’d go to hell & back for you men. #LYMI

Earhart: tclaps for the push to get after that ugly orange “car”, appreciated the challenge.

Gecko, Poehler & Frosty: YHC always has a better day when you guys are at the beatdown; your mumblechatter, encouragement and brotherhood does not go unnoticed.

Failing forward is learning… we went to failure on those ropes. HOWEVER, we strengthened our bodies and our tolerance for pain in the process. We’re capable of achieving more than we allow ourselves to believe at times.

When you say something out loud, it’s 10x more powerful than just thinking it.

Negativity is a multiple of 4-7x more powerful than Positivity

So… when we say negative things out loud (to ourselves or others) it’s 40-70x more powerful than not saying anything. Stop telling yourself those negative things… CHANGE THE TAPES and change your outcomes.

Grace & Peace,

Tommy Boy
