It was advertised as a Roman-themed workout, but if you were expecting gladiator outfits and togas, you were sadly mistaken. Out of a desperate need to be creative, YHC stumbled upon the word Buongiorno on the internet and the Italian idea popped up. Then as I thought about the layout of the Crater, it all fell into place: The big circle we use is La Piazza. The bridge to the library is Il Ponte. The big bright light along the road to the school is La Luce. And the long run around the school is La Corsa. Viola! (sorry, wrong Romance language) We have a concept!
Of course, the build up to the workout was tremendous. (Bulldog bailed the week before and there was no preblast, save the meager attempt to throw something out there by YHC the night before. No one bit.). But hats off to all who did show, and away we go!
