Workout: Shake & Bake
Pax: Maneater, Matlock (Respect!), Bobby Knight, Explosion, Wojo (Respect!), Udders (YHC)
It was a pleasant February morning. Not too cold, not too hot. YHC had grown tired of track workouts and felt the need for something “different”. With the approval of the site Q the pax were told to bring a headlamp and reflective gear. Matlock showed up to ruck, but the rest of the pax weren’t scared off and decided to go with YHC’s plan. Here’s what went down…

Mosey to Drawbridge and hang a left
Cross Battleground to Bicentenial Greenway and run to Old Battleground
Hang a left on Old Battleground (Wojo wanted to run through his old neighborhood but YHC had other ideas)
At corner of Battleground & Old Battleground YHC suggested crossing Battleground and running Horse Pen Creek to Drawbridge. However our Nan’Tan Emeritus stepped in (and with some help from our trusty site Q) made a better suggestion to hang a left on Battleground. Once YHC was struck with the brilliance of their idea that’s exactly what we did.
We then crossed Battleground to get back on Drawbridge and ran Drawbridge back to Kernodle and the shovel flag. 4.1 miles covered (almost like the Conan and a Wojo approved distance to boot!).

- Stay safe in the coming ice storm
Solid work from the pax today. Matlock made YHC proud by getting his ruck in when running wasn’t an option. Maneater and Explosion are rounding into peak running form early in the season. Bobby Knight ran great and looked ready to go for Ash Wednesday. YHC was also honored to have Wojo for his first post coming off the IR. Good to have Wojo back.
It was an honor to lead this group of men today. Thank you again for the opportunity.
Until next time Natville….
