YHC has a confession to make.

YHC lives ridiculously close to this AO. I mean, YHC could wake up at 5:15, have a cup of Joe, drop some ducks off at the pond, check the twittah feed, and still make it there by 5:30 for launch.  Instead, YHC has been getting up at 4:45 and driving into town for the other beatdowns.  Well, this year, YHC pledges to post here more often and to help this AO grow.  Its a great AO with great regular PAX posting every week.

And Xerox comes too.

We joke about this AO being in VA and whatever, but it’s really not that far away.  The Summerfield PAX routinely make the trek into Natville every am to post.  YHC thinks the Natville PAX need to return the favor and head up 220 North on a Thursday very soon.

Being the Q, this presented YHC a prime opportunity to break out my balls for a workout, my 20 lb slam-balls, that is.  YHC also took advantage of having in my possession Double Check’s kettlebells which DD had bought from Boone’s Farm but  he failed to post at the Fringe to get them. So they ended up in my domain for the time being.

For this workout to really work, we needed a number divisible by three.  At 5:29, to my dismay, there were 7 pax hanging in the gloom so YHC was prepared to modify. But wait, coming in hot was Tea Party and Spurrier.  Spurrier was just rolling into town from the national championship game and even though it was three days after the game, he still looked all partied out.  That gave us the perfect number of 9 pax, so we moseyed up to Summerfield Elem for the Warmarama

We divided into groups of three.  At one end of the parking lot, 4 20lb slamballs and double check’s kettlebells (thanks DD!!) were positioned into 6 stations.  At the other end of the parking lot, 6 stations were set up with traditional exercises. Partner 1 starts with the balls/kettlebells, Partner 2 starts with the exercises, Partner 3 runs to the end of the lot to relieve Partner 2 and so on. When the trio completes the exercise, move to the next station. All exercises are AMRAP.

Omaha at 6am, All the PAX completed all the stations.  we then had a short mosey back down to the Shovel flag. On route, we noticed the door to the Duke Power service shed was left open.  At 6am in the gloom, that sight was a little creepy.  Was there a sad clown in there, lurking? Did Kilowatt forget to shut the door last night? Faster pace to the flag.  There we engaged in part two of the Thang:
