Election Day 2016. Cadet Lab, Oak Ridge, NC. Why should today be any different than any other day in the gloom? PAX, that answer to that question will be quenched with sweat by the end of the workout. Big Government at its best. Build the Wall. Green Energy. Global Warming. Get the picture? As Americans go to the polls today, we have a choice. Do you want more government or less? Todays beatdown went something like this:
Circle up behind YHC’s truck for a little pre-stretch while PAX roll in. 5:30. Time to go. Mosey between the fields to the concession stand for the Warm A Rama.
SSH x 25 IC
Chinooks x 12 clockwise, 12 counterclockwise IC
Windmills x 15 IC (Green Energy for the treehuggers.)
Monkey Humpers x 25 IC #crowdpleaser
Mosey 20′ to the flag for the Pledge of Allegiance. (Very important today.)
Next up, we have partner carry. This is YHC’s version of BIG GOVERNMENT. PAX are instructed to partner up, perform partner carry to parking lot. Flip flop. Perform partner carry not once, but twice. Notice #mumblechatter at this point. YHC was odd man out, so there was a group of 3. (Someone had it easy with 1 carry…It wasn’t YHC.) PAX was evidently tired of big government on their back, so we mosey over to the picnic tables by the playground. PAX instructed to perform 30 dips, 10 pull-ups, 50 LBC’s. Repeat with 20 dips, 5 pull-ups, and 25 LBC’s. The LBC’s were designed to be a recovery period from what would be next.
Mosey back to YHC’s #countrycadillac. At the drop of the tailgate, not only did we have blocks but also bricks! PAX were instructed to grab a pair of bricks, and mosey to the football field. #mumblechatter is extremely thick at this point. Worrisome fear has taken over. Fear for the F3 PAX? Hardly not. Never. Bring it on! At the end zone, YHC instructs PAX to line up. Spurrier’s famous 120 yard bear crawl is about to become infamous. To keep the spirits of Election Day high, PAX are told to “Build the Wall”…..on the other end of the football field. PAX are to bear crawl down the field holding the bricks. It was not a race, but Double Check was the undisputed leader and finished first. #SugarRay. PAX were successful in building the wall, with no brick left behind. Plank for the Six. Upon arrival of the Six, a 10 count was given for a quick breath. Next, the order for 10 Jack Webbs were given with bricks.
Mosey back to truck and exchange bricks for blocks. Circle up for 30 Skull Crushers with blocks, single count. Kay was quick to inform PAX that the block is 1/5 of his body weight, or something like that. YHC countered with something pithy, although it has since escaped his mind. Something to do with being fat and or stronger. (Maybe both.) Continued pain with blocks. 50 block squats, single count. Last block exercise, the Al Gore, complete with block. A little #globalwarming for the PAX. YHC lost count on the time, but many knees were shaking.
Time for a quick Indian Run before Mary. All the way down to the end of the lot and back.

Plank. 2 min. Might as well have been forever.

It has been quite a while since YHC has been in the gloom consistently. Here and there is #nogood. PAX need to realize it is a privilege to post with other brothers in the gloom daily. As this is being typed, YHC is 800 miles away where there is no F3. Only the #fern and water. Lots and lots of water. Come on F3 Expansion!
YHC reminded PAX that we live in the best country in the world. Please be sure to get out and vote, if you haven’t already. Also be sure to vote for our very own Gunny, Pat Tillman for School Board. #HIM. No matter the outcome of the election, we should support our elected leaders, and pray for them and our country.
YHC took us out.
