YHC set the alarm clock just a wee bit earlier the night before Monday’s Latham Grinder in order to get out ahead of a sure to be restless 32 PAX to start the week off with power and impact. Driving down Wendover to Latham yesterday morning, the memories of this venerable AO came flooding back. Many moons ago, with neighbors Nancy and Amphibious we would carpool #Clowncar it over to this AO when it first began. We were so excited to have a Monday workout option. As F3 Greensboro #Natville quickly approaches its 2nd year anniversary, YHC is reminded of AO’s like this and what a staple they are to the men all around Natville. Latham Grinder gave us The Matterhorn (thanks to Quicken) and a sinister Jacob’s ladder up that insane hill (you know the one). It is here that men continue to make those memories and forge some unforgettable bonds in the gloom. So, lets get to it… Below is what went down.

Altermating Shoulder Taps – 20x (Here mumble chatter fomented with something or another about inordinate amount of shoulder work)… YHC confused. Only called out 3 shoulder warm-ups in succession…

Wind Mills – 20x
Monkey Humpers – 20x
The Thang –
As the MLB playoffs are underway YHC believed it only fitting to pay homage to America’s pastime with some work around the horn #roundthebases, but first all PAX lined up along fenceline for some Ascending testicles. Called out time and then conducted what can only be accurately described as Ascending Testicle Dry Docks, or perhaps Carolina Dry Testicles – take your pick but PAX executed 15x in cadence. Then spit PAX up into roughly 10-12 person teams and assigned to each base.
1st Base (Low Slow Flutters, Alt Shoulder Taps and Monkey Humpers) – 3 exercises performed in order and only switching to next exercise after all PAX have run to fence and back. First man 1 runs to the fence and back, next man and so on it goes. You get the idea
2nd Base (Low Slow Flutters, Carolina Dry Docks and Crab Cakes) – 3 exercises performed in order and only switching to next exercise after all PAX have run to fence and back. First man 1 runs to the fence and back, next man and so on it goes. You get the idea3
