After last week’s record turnout at the #Fenceline YHC felt a little inspiration from other AOs that typically handle large numbers and provide great beatdowns. Wide Left’s thrashing at the most recent #UptownFunk was still fresh so we duplicated that workout #Fenceline style, minus the 3 miles, the trivia, and Wide Left’s inner poetic ways. #nevermore

Blessed with good weather after rain was in the forecast; the fog cleared and 16 veteran pax appeared ready to take on the advertised 5 point plan that turned out to be a 5 course pain filled meal. No FNGs, but a few new faces were in the crowd which always keeps YHC on his toes. After surveying the group, we took a mosey through the neighborhood to the front of the school for the W.A.R.

Pax gathered and we then counted off into 1s and 2s to keep the pax at just the right size. However some of the pax had other ideas. We ended up with a group of 10 and a group of 6. The 1’s would initially set the pace.

The Thang

Station 1 – Sunset -to- Huntington

  • 5 Hills – Back Pedal (Half Way)
    • 5 Merkins at the top – mosey back
  • 5 Hills – Regular (Top of the Hill)

Group 1 moseyed to relieve Group 2 at the Baseball Diamond

Station 2 – Resistance Bands – 1st Base line

  • Chest Press (AMRAP)
    • Run to Shortstop – 20 Merkins
  • Overhead Tricep Extension (AMRAP)
    • Run to Left Field – 20 Diamond Merkins
  • 20 Dips

After concluding each AMRAP exercise the Merkin/Dip reps were decreased by 5

Station 3 – Med Balls/Jump Rope

  • Wall Ball – 10 ft/10 Reps
  • Jump Rope 30 seconds
  • Balls-to-the-Wall (if you were in Wicked’s group) #hostiletakeover

Station 4 – Fitness Center

  • 20 Man Dips
  • 20 Pull-ups
  • 15 second Combat Rope

Station 5 – Basketball Court

  • Resistance Band seated Row (AMRAP)
  • Resistance Band Crunch (AMRAP)
