14 PAX rolled out of bed on Wednesday morning for a mid-week #easyday workout at Local Honey in downtown Greensboro. After gather, an introduction and welcome to the PAX, the team set off on a mosey first North along N. Green St and around the downtown Marriott back south on Elm St to Center City Park for the warm-up.
Warm-up:
The PAX executed an active style warm-up:
- Accelerate to 50% down
- 5 burpees OYO
- Accelerate to 50% back
- Accelerate to 75% down
- 5 burpees OYO
- Accelerate to 75% back
- High Knees down
- 5 burpees OYO
- Butt Kickers back
- Karaoke down
- 5 burpees OYO
- Karaoke back
- Accelerate to 100% down
- 5 burpees OYO
- Accelerate to 100% back
In the midst or the warm-up, the PAX were interrupted by some passer bys inquiring if we were the Po-lice. While curious as to what their concern was, all appeared as normal as passer-bys at 5:30 am in downtown Greensboro could look like, and we carried on. However, throughout the rest of the workout, a casual “Yall the Po-lice?” was heard from an insubordinate PAX member.
After the warm-up, the PAX moseyed to Lebauer Park for the workout.
Workout:
The PAX split off into teams of two. While Partner A ran the loop around Lebauer Park, Partner B executed the first exercise listed below until he was relieved. The PAX then flap-jacked: Partner B ran while Partner A executed the first workout. The teams worked their way down the list until times was called. Most teams completed the entire workout and started a rinse and repeat.

When time was called, the PAX moseyed back to the shovel lag for Mary and COT, and a bit of spilled Merlot from an exhausted PAX-member.
