8 PAX and 1 FNG dog named Bailey (Viagra’s canine 2.0) mounted up for a ride on the Rainbow Dash… Great seeing Brisket back out in the gloom #WelocmebackCotter. And if dogs could be named we might consider the F3 handle Cialis for Viagra’s dog… Do I need to explain this one? Rainbow Dash offered up a willing landscape for the PAX to do its “Thang”. The air hung thick and heavy as did the Mumblechatter. Here’s what it was…
We began with a mozy around the schoolhouse stopping at each bench, set of stairs or basically anything elevated off the ground for 20 Derkins and 20 Dips each, OYO. Upon circling the entire school we ended up with 100 Derkins and 100 Dips to get the blood moving. Then the PAX was greeted by an open truck bed with bricks. Each PAX grabbed 2 bricks and we mozied over to baseball field for the other Warm-o-Rama. It might be noted here that dogs don’t carry things but Bailey was encouraging us all the way.
Warm-O-BRICK-O-Rama (all commands executed with bricks in hand):
Flock of Seagulls – 15x
Sun Gods – 15x Forward, no recovery / 15x Reverse
Windmills – 15x
SS Hops (no bricks) – 25x
Squatted Chinooks – 15x
Crab Cakes – 20X
The Thang – Twin Towers of Trust: Twin towers of trust involves raising up bricks, extending arms out straight to your partner who is directly across from you. Staring into your partner’s eyes is acceptable, even encouraged but could get creepy after several minutes. While all PAX are holding up bricks with arms outstretched, last two men in line bear crawl through to the end of line and so it goes, each man bear crawling with bricks under “towers” of those PAX holding their bricks overhead, careful not to drop said bricks on their bear crawling brothers beneath them.
We conducted Twin Towers of Trust from the one end of short track to the other (40+ yards). It was here where mumblechatter reached a fever pitch
Upon completion of the Towers, Thang Part II took place on the baseball diamond #Fieldof Dreams and went like this: Partner up and find a base. Upon completing the 3 exercises per base, advance to next base. About this time, DOS and Naptime showed up. Apparently there is a Mendenhall Academy, or some such structure off of Wendover somewhere. #Tardy
1st Base (Merkins, LBC’s and Plank Jacks) – 3 exercises performed partner style at 20 reps each. Partner 1 runs to the fence performs 10 Burpees, runs back while Partner 2 performs exercises switiching off until all 3 sets complete
2nd Base (Prisoner Get Ups, Carolina Dry Docks and Crab Cakes) – 3 exercises performed partner style at 20 reps each. Partner 1 runs to the fence performs 10 Burpees, runs back while Partner 2 performs exercises switching off until all 3 sets complete
3rd Base (Burpees, Low Slow Flutters and Jack Brick Webbs) – 3 exercises performed partner style at 20 reps each. Partner 1 runs to the fence performs 10 Burpees, runs back while Partner 2 performs exercises switching off until all 3 sets complete
Omaha called right about the time each team completed all bases for another round of Tower of Trust .
Bricks in hand, Mozy back to the school and run around finding those benches and stairs again for another round of Derkins and Dips. Back to shovelflag
LSF’s – 25x
Box Cutters – 20x
Cindy Crawford’s – 15X each side
American Hammers – 20X
Moleskin:
- Welcome back Cotters to Brisket (great effort out there) and DOS – Glad to have you back in the gloom.
- Tclaps to the salty veterans like J-Love, Sugar Cake, Viagra and Wide Left for posting at RD. Good to have been with you guys out there.
- Let it be noted that each F3 workout ends with a COT.. YHC was so zapped it was nearly forgotten until Wide Left stepped in to ensure we left on a great note.
- J-Love took us out
My honor and privilege to help facilitate and enjoy some fellowship with each of you. Continue EH’ing to bring new men into our welcoming group, particularly those Saturday AO’s that need the support. #GiveItAway #PlantGrowandServe
