10 Natville Pax joined YHC on a very warm morning to enjoy the wide open spaces and beautiful countryside of Oak Ridge.  The moon looked great in the morning sky as the pax gathered for the workout.  It went down something like this:

Warmerama

Mosey to flagpole for Pledge of Allegiance

Mosey to Concession Stand

SSH X 20

Chinooks X 15

Reverse Chinooks X 15

Sun Gods (Dr. Evil Style) X 15

Reverse Sun Gods (Dr. Evil Style) X 15

Windmills X 15 (in honor of Heisenberg)

Mummy Kicks X 15

Cotton Pickers X 15

The Thang

The pax then moseyed around the ball field to the picnic shelter for the start of the Thang after a standing 10 count:

Dallas Dips X 20 IC;  10 each leg (in honor of JR)

Decline Merkins X 20 OYO

Stepups X 20 OYO each leg

We then moseyed to the shovel flag and YHC called for another standing 10 count.  YHC then split the pax into two groups by the traffic cones placed prior to the workout.  YHC then divided the pax into 2 groups.  Group 1 sprinted approximately 40 yards in the parking lot to the next traffic cone.  For the next 40 yards the pax bear crawled (in honor of Spurrier) to a marked tree in the parking lot.  Pax then bear crawled back to the traffic cone and then sprinted to the first cone.

Group 2 sprinted approximately 40 yards in the parking lot to the next traffic cone.  For the next 40 yards the pax crab walked to a marked tree in the parking lot.  Pax then crab walked back to the traffic cone and then sprinted to the first cone.

After both groups finished they did the other side before another standing 10 count was called.  Exercise looked good on paper #bearcrawls&crabwalksinparkinglotverydifferentthanongrassfieldwithcushion

YHC then had the pax do a Slowjangles Biscuit around the 4 traffic cones before completing a burpee at the end.  YHC witnessed Surge doing his best Dale Earnhardt impression on the lap as he tried to put Toto “in the wall” for trying to pass a couple of times.  Mumble chatter was at a minimum as the pax focused on the pain pulsating through their quads and hamstrings.

Song Time:  “Elvira” by the Oak Ridge Boys

YHC was inspired a couple of weeks ago by Site Q Heisenberg referring to the pax at Cadet Lab as the “Oak Ridge Boys”.  YHC decided then & there that the Oak Ridge Boys signature song would be used for the next song time.  YHC instructed the pax to do a merkin every time “Elvira” was sung and to do a plank jack every time “giddy up” or “ba-oom papa oom papa mow mow” was sung.  YHC has had some rough songs for song time, but today might have been the worst #shouldersandarmswereabsolutelysmokedinunder4minutes YHC was very proud of the pax for pushing through this and for no one trying to imitate Richard Sterban’s deep bass voice on the chorus.

We then finished with Site Q Heisenberg leading us through a Natville staple:  The American Hammer X 25

Great work by the pax today.  Great to see Surge and Placebo back in the gloom. YHC also appreciated JR and Defib making the somewhat long journey to Oak Ridge to join us to.

COT:  The Real Toto took us out with prayer
