It seemed like many Pax were excited about the idea of an Everest workout to start the week as a number of cars were in the lot by 5:15! After a brief disclaimer, the Pax were off on a mosey as the twinkle of Long Time’s headlights came into view. He caught up and the dozen Pax were off and running.

After a mosey around the parking lot, we ended up back at the flag for…

Warm-o-Rama:

Side straddle hop x 20 IC

Windmills x 20 IC (slow for the old guys)

Sun gods x 15 IC (forward and reverse)

Chinooks x 15 IC

Imperial Walkers x 20 IC

Copperhead Squats x 20 IC

Then another short mosey over to the picnic area in front of the school…

The Thang Part I:

The Pax partnered up. Partner A did BTTW while Partner B did 20 dips and 20 step ups (10 each leg). Flapjack. Flapjack again but with wall sit instead of BTTW. Another short mosey…

The Thang Part II:

The Pax went wild with glee with YHC announced that we would do the ever (or never) popular 4 corners escalator. First stop was 10 burpees. Second stop 10 burpees, 20 lunges. Third stop 10 burpees, 20 lunges, 30 squats, forth stop 10 burpees, 20 lunges, 30 squats, and 40 LBC’s. After a lap around the parking lot we went back down the escalator. Most Pax completed the circuit (and enjoyed their 80 burpees). Then a mosey back to the grass near the shovel flag…

6MOM:

Again the Pax were delighted when YHC broke out the timer app. But there was some disappointment as we didn’t do the regular 5 minute plank routine. After a minute plank, we did some bridge work with one leg in the air. After alternating legs and repeating, we did a back plank. Then we finished the five minutes with a regular plank and a chilcutt plank. While the pax were begging for more, we finished up with the American Hammer x 20 IC.
