17 Natville pax joined YHC on a fantastic June morning to get their week started off with a proper beatdown. It went down something like this:
Warmerama
Pledge of Allegiance at Shovel Flag
7 Burpees OYO
SSH X 15
7 Burpees OYO
Windmill/Heisenberg X 15
7 Burpees OYO
Sun Gods (Dr. Evil Style) X 15
Reverse Sun Gods (Dr. Evil Style) X 15
7 Burpees OYO – Burpee Challenge Burpees almost done; need 1 more (Q can’t count)
Monkey Humpers/Stubing’s X 15
The Thang
Started with a mosey to bottom of hill by entrance to Kathleen Clay Edwards library. YHC was supplied cones by site Q (thanks Phoenix!) prior to workout. YHC instructed pax to do a JR special: Elevens! Pax started with 10 merkins, run approximately 50 yards, 1 Cusack Squat, then run back to do 9 merkins, run 50 yards, 2 Cusack Squats, etc. Pax performed this exercise with great effort (way to push through Cornhole).
We then mosyed back to the shovel flag where we split into 2 groups. Group 1 started with a Stubing special (Blocks!) while Group 2 did a Slowjangles Biscuit. When Group 1 finished their exercises (Rows, Skull Crushers, and Presses) they switched off with Group 2. YHC couldn’t tell which the pax hated worse: lunges or Stubing’s blocks.
We then moseyed to the school wall for 30 seconds of Balls to the Wall. Explosion did a fine job counting but YHC feels many of the pax would have loved for Explosion to have counted as fast as Amphibious does on 10 counts.
6MOM
Apollo Creed X 15
Song time: Today’s selection was “I Keep Forgettin” by the godfather of Soft Rock/Yacht Rock: Michael McDonald. Pax were instructed to do 3 plankjacks every time they heard “I Keep Forgettin”. Pax overall didn’t like this song #strongmumblechatter. Sir Charles and Calculus also brought their “A” game with the mumble chatter here. #rivaledNancy&Amphibious.

Great work by the pax today at the Crater. Great effort on the cardio heavy workout!
