Apparently, the Natville PAX took my pre-blast warning seriously. Nevertheless, 5 strong veteran Pax posted today in Summerfield, and what a morning it was. #Cohesion at its best.
After a welcome and disclaimer, YHC led PAX into a very short mosey for the Warm A Rama behind the community center. (The neighbors in Summerfield like it to be quiet up here.) It went down like this:
Warm A Rama:
13 Burpees OYO
SSH x 20 IC
Cotton Pickers x 10 IC
Windmills x 15 IC
13 Burpees OYO….you ‘gotta get ’em in somehow, might as well be now!
The Thang:
Mosey down the trail to the dam. Along the way, YHC is reminded of how beautiful it is outside in the gloom as songbirds sing overhead. Very peaceful compared to what lies ahead. What a great AO.
At the dam, PAX are instructed to run down the hill, perform 5 Plank Jacks, Bear Crawl up, perform 5 Wojo squats at the top. Rinse and repeat 4 times. Plank for the SIX, but there was no SIX today. #strongeffortbyall
Another mosey awaits, so down the trail to the Amphitheater. At the Amphitheater, PAX perform 20 Crunchy Frogs and 40 Dips OYO.
Mosey to Summerfield Elementary basketball lot. 40 LBC’s IC and 20 Shoulder tap Merkins OYO.
Mosey to the soccer field for the final part of the Thang.
Partner up for some wheelbarrow time. Wheelbarrow down to soccer goal approx. 30 yards, flapjack with partner. Tclaps to Fletch as he was gracious enough to let YHC complete the wheelbarrow walk as YHC was the odd man out in a group of 5. After wheelbarrow walk, PAX complete 10 pullups on the playground, followed by a 30 sec. Al Gore. For the last part of the Thang, 10 prisoner get ups for each leg.
Mosey back to shovel flag for some Mary.
Mary:
Cumberland County Viaduct 10 each side IC
High Dolly x 20 IC
Reverse LBC x 15 IC (maybe 20, YHC lost count)
Dying Cockroach x 15 IC
American Hammer x 20 IC
Moleskin/Announcements:
Misfire’s family made it to Alaska safely. Praise God for safe travels.
Blood drive this Sunday. Cycle de Oro. Walk ups are welcome. Bring your M, EH someone. Contact Butt Fumble for more information.
Sunday 6:30pm: F3 Kernersville PAX are serving meals at United Methodist Church in Kernersville. Come out to help serve with fellow F3 brothers.2.0s welcome and encouraged. See Spurrier or Gillmore.
COT:
YHC took us out.
Pax: As usual, it was an honor to lead today. Participating as Q is something YHC does not take lightly. F3 has changed YHC’s life for the better. I thoroughly enjoy a good beatdown, being a part of something bigger than myself, all while lifting up your fellow PAX. Friendships are forged and bonded while Iron sharpens Iron. YHC doesn’t always have the opportunity to participate in all 3 F’s, but I highly recommend it. It will make you a better man.
PAX: Stubing
