Apparently the rain scared off many of the regulars at Local Honey – 7 Pax including YHC showed up on a particularly gloomy morning and here is what went down.

Who doesn’t love the class song TUBTHUMPER from Chumbawamba – this song encompasses everything that was just bad about the music during the late 90s – hard to believe it has been almost 20 years since it was released.
Everytime they yell “I get knocked down” we did a burpee. While waiting for the next “I get knocked down” we did SSH. The burpees came in flurries and the end is particularly painful. 27 total burpees to get things moving.

Disclaimer to the PAX – the sprints from Monday at the Grinder were hurting a few PAX legs, so went heavy upper body today – might have overdone it.

We did one circuit with all four exercises, one circuit with the first and the third exercise and one circuit with just the second. Needless to say, lots of merkins involved.
Then a familiar old friend reared her head for one more song.
SALLY! – Gone in Sixty Seconds is a really bad movie that I love – Nick Cage at his best, and this Moby song from the movie is a great way to end an upper body beatdown. We modified and did squats for a bit before Hermie was inspired and we all went back down for some more Sally!
