Mark Twain once wrote:
“Eat a live frog first thing in the morning and it will be the hardest thing you do all day.”
And so we did…
A baker’s dozen Natville PAX decided to start their week off right by bringing some heat at 29-degrees!!! We started with a brief Intro and Disclaimer, but speeches not well received in cold temps… Boone’s Farm stepped forward to get the PAX rolling.

OBSERVATIONS:
- Great Job Boone’s Farm stepping right up and leading the Warm O Rama! Co-VQ out of the way – #OnwardAndUpward
- Bodette continues to take away all excuses in 2016 – ran the 1/4 mile pre-start because he could, and completed a Mini-Mini Murph in style of Rocky Balboa – single armed for most of it! #ShoulderInjuriesSuck
- Xerox gets extra credit for high-stepping through the cones!! #BoomThatJustHappened
- Pickle Pusher (of all exercises to perform in an elementary school parking lot…) interrupted by a teacher’s early work arrival and most likely to surface somewhere on YouTube! – Thankfully it was dark and all PAX disguised in winter clothing.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
- Q-School this coming FRIDAY (at Up-Town Funk) and SATURDAY (meeting off-site and then catching-up with Cornwallis’ Nightmare). Details in pre-blast here!
- Gilligan suggesting VIDEO of some Q-School if possible… Volunteers?
- 2nd F – Some Natville PAX (starting with Utters) viewing Clemson V. Alabama game tonight @ Rody’s Tavern. No time announced… You know when to be there!
- 3rd F – Encouraging all PAX to post to a 3rd F and Make It A Great Year! Lots of great stuff happening – every day of the week now.
- J-Love is looking in to securing AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) for the Natville PAX. Wikipedia link here FYI. More to follow… stay tuned.
- In the meantime suggestion was made by Kilowatt and YHC for Q’s to keep (or be responsible for seeing that someone has) a phone on them at all times in case of 911-type emergency.
- Would also be good to get some CPR/AED training classes for interested PAX. See J-Love if any info to share. #BetterSafeThanSorry
Always a profound honor to lead!
Thank you,
Long Time
