35 Strong PAX decided to post the Grinder this morning ready to get the day started on a positive note. With no FNG’s present the opening comments and disclaimer were administered and the group was ready to go. Here’s how it went down.

Easy Mosey out to the end of the driveway near the baseball fields and back to the main parking lot where the PAX circled up:

WARM-A-RAMA

  • SSH X 15IC
  • Windmill X 15IC
  • Hillbillies X 15IC
  • Sun Gods X 15IC each direction
  • Freddie Mercury’s X 15IC
  • Peter Parker X 15IC

THANG

PAX counted off partnered up in pairs in the middle section of the main parking lot. Partner 1 would take off and run the circle drive and back to a designated Bear Crawl Zone (approximately 25 yards) and would end up at the starting point where Partner 2 was performing the first of 9 exercises. The partners would switch off running and exercising until all 9 exercises were complete. The exercises were performed for the duration of the time it took the other partner to complete the run and bear crawl. The added benefit was all exercises were performed with a 25lb medicine ball or in some cases a 30lb. sandbag. The exercises in order:

  1. Unbalanced Merkins
  2. WW1 Sit-Up
  3. Goblet Squat
  4. Burpees
  5. American Hammer
  6. Al Gore
  7. Lying Chest Toss
  8. Cindy Crawford’s
  9. Goblet Squat

With time running out the PAX planked up while waiting for the six to complete the run phase.

6 MOM

  • 120 Second Chilcutt Plank counted off by the PAX
  • Low Slow Flutter X 15IC
  • American Hammer X 15IC
